I started practising Yoga about seven years ago, and had amazing results with it, but have since lapsed. I have a yoga mat, but do not have the will to practise.
I believe at some point it will kick in again, because I think about it all the time.
I was thinking about joining a class, but my finances at the moment do not permit it.

Re: kundalini
I was just wondering because an (ex) friend of mine became heavily involved in kundalini yoga and then joined it's associated cult (3HO) and is planning to become a professional yoga instructor.Frankly I think the cult is a bit sinister, and me and him are not on the best of speaking terms, but it's probable that he would be up for teaching you at reduced rates. Teaching practise for him, cheap-ass yoga for you.
Just a thought.

Re: kundalini
Hi,Sorry, I posted a comment with bad tags. I deleted it, so here we go again.
I'm the sinister cult guy training to be a Kindalini Yoga instructor. If you're interested, I'm happy to answer your questions, go into more details, etc. Kundalini Yoga is different from other yogas (then again, as far as I'm concerned, they're all different from each other).
I've found that it was best for me to just practice a few sun salutations in the morning to ease myself into yoga. It's the regularity of the practice that's important, not the intensity. If you have the space and intention, I'd recommend giving that a try.
Nice to meet you.
